BASIC LIFE SUPPORT COURSES CAN BE CATERED TO YOUR NEEDS DEPENDING ON YOUR REQUIREMENTS, RANGING FROM INFORMAL 2-3 HOUR SESSIONS TO THE FULL 4 HOUR LEVEL 2 AWARD IN CPR & AED
Basic Life Support courses are ideal for anyone wishing to become trained in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). If your place of work, community centre, or any organisation that you are associated with is in possession of a defibrillator, then this course will give you the confidence to be able to use it competently. The courses range from 2 to 4 hours and are delivered in accordance with the standards set by the Resuscitation Council (UK) 2015 guidelines. Over the course of the sessions, candidates will learn the following:

Certificate gained upon completion
Successful candidates will be awarded with an Ofqual regulated qualification that sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) that is valid for 3 years
The Day's Agenda
Assessment takes place in the form of continuous observation throughout the day, which includes active participation in demonstrations and discussions. No prior knowledge or experience of first aid is required, everything is covered including assessments on the day.
